“For more than 60 years, Capital Region Mental Health and Addictions Association, Inc. (CRMHAA) has been providing services to people in the Fredericton and surrounding area experiencing mental health and/or addiction issues.

Chimo is a provincial crisis phone line, accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to all residents of New Brunswick.
Our mission is to serve our community by providing a competent level of crisis intervention, referrals and vital information in a caring, confidential manner.
We can help you by providing a listening ear, helpful information, crisis intervention and referrals to resources in the province of N.B.
The Day Centre offers support and assistance by providing free basic skills training sessions on various topics that promote empowerment, positive thinking and recovery of the individual in his or her community. The program is 6 weeks in duration and is available to those 16 years of age and older. The service can be accessed from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
Services are offered to clients who are referred by a physician, psychiatrist, professional from Mental Health or Addiction Treatment Centers, hospitals (emergency or psychiatric unit) or therapists in private practice.
Le Transit – Crisis Centre/Transition House is a community organization that offers a 4-bed short-term crisis intervention service to vulnerable clients 16 years of age and older experiencing mental health issues. The service offers support, with respect and dignity to promote problem solving and accompany people who wish to return to an optimal level of wellness and functioning.
Services are offered to clients who are referred by a physician, psychiatrist, professional from Mental Health or Addiction Treatment Centers, hospitals (emergency or psychiatric unit) or therapists in private practice.
